I have been having great difficulty recently with a few singers that seem to start all their songs on SHARPS. Just for argument sake, I want to explain a simple theory I follow.

If something is natural, you naturally hear it better for example, natural notes/chords are chords in the form of DOH RE ME FA SO LA TEE DOH (C D E F G A B C).

A SHARP means its SHARP! DUH! Why is it that these singers are full of it. They are literally believing in a lie. Songs written, are written to start normally on a natural note with sharps inbetween the song at times.

If you're a singer and you sing mainly on SHARPS, that doesn't make you a good singer. Truth of the matter, you need to work on naturals first since most people can appreciate the natural notes more.
