What do I like in people
Some people are worth the time, others simply aren't. I've been thinking lately about how my brain processes / choose friends. What do I look for in a person, what can I stand? Well simply put, I don't like fake, weak people - those terms are contextual and subjective so I'll tell you what I consider friendship qualities, what makes people special in my eyes...
HONESTY - I love people who are honest, it makes me want to be honest as well, moreover, its really hard to find honest people.
CONTROLLED, SENSITIVE - I love people who are controlled. What do I mean? Well just because you're honest, you don't have to be an insensitive bastard because of it. I like people who are honest but yet controlled about what they say. You know, its like the difference between saying "You're ugly" and "You need to work a little more on how you look"
REAL (not a hypocrite) - We all make mistakes, be real about it. I mean, sometimes I come across people who think they are all that because they have money but really, especially for those born into a family with a lot of money, you didn't work hard for it.... right? So take away the money and then you see really who you are and really who your friends are. I've even met at least one from a family of drunkards... lucky for them, they have money... but really... who are you? Are you really better than I am? Please, think it over.
LOVE (heart on your sleeve) - While many people would believe that this is a sign of weakness, I do believe that to me, I respect that. We are higher beings than animals, we have emotions and also a conviction. I believe in love and I believe in people who use their heart (not literall) and minds. If you're one of those, don't change that about you but I'm certain that is one of your best human traits.
