South West Regional Health Authority, you thought I was stupid?
Yesterday I was called in for an interview at south west regional health authority for a network technician position (which is currently a lower position than my current position at Eastern Regional Health Authority).
After the interviews, they called me back today asking me to come in for a second interview for Software technician and decided to refuse this interview because I have to go to Eastern Regional Health Authority on Monday. During the conversation with the HR personnel on the phone, she said that someone scored higher than me in the interview... Imagine that nuh? Someone scored higher than me in the interview when I was the one who played a primary role in the network setup of the Eastern Regional Health Authority's network. Would I want to work for less pay and in a lower ranked position at SWRHA? SWRHA, is your loss. To think, they want me to drive quite down icacos and point fortin and moruga when the road bad and the traffic even more crazy. It looks like I'll be back at ERHA, it seems I belong there, at least they appreciate me. You know, the HR person had the nerve to ask me if its my ego was hurt so I responded...
Its not a matter of ego, if I go to work as a low paid technician, what good does that do me? You will give me a permanent position to be permanently lower paid. Not to mention, that would mean I get low pay and have to develop "excellent" applications for them if I get through with being a software technician, this makes no sense to me. You all fall in the same range like companies like colfire who don't want to pay their skilled workers for what they're worth.
At first I thought it would be great to work for SWRHA, now I'm thanking my lucky stars I didn't waste more time with them.
